Turnaround Lifestyle at The Old Ruth

A Community of Restoration and Renewal

For those who have lost their footing, whose lives have been detoured or derailed, or who are simply learning how to live again—for anyone ready to rediscover hope, find rhythm, and imagine a future filled with life and purpose—welcome home.

TurnAround Lifestyle is a wellness community—a living, breathing ecosystem designed to help people recover joy, rebuild confidence, and remember, and possibly even discover, who they are.

It’s a place to breathe again, re-establish healthy boundaries, create good routines, and wake up with expectation instead of heaviness.

This isn’t a hospital or a treatment center. It’s a family of places that work together—body, soul, mind, and spirit—to help life turn around from the inside out.

The Ecosystem

At the heart of this community stands The Old Ruth, a 30,000-square-foot historic mansion on the National Registry, resting on nearly four acres in the center of the historic district. The Old Ruth has been lovingly restored as a sanctuary of peace and belonging. It’s more than lodging—it’s a home for restoration. It’s where guests live during their sabbatical, share meals around long tables, breathe in beauty, and slowly rebuild their lives.

Just a few minutes away is Studio 7:14 | Wellness by Design, the working heart of the TurnAround Lifestyle community. Studio 7:14 is where science-backed ancient wisdom meets thoughtful design. Inside are It’s Not Yoga classes, Mind the Truth Counseling, massage and body-work suites, a full apothecary, and advanced wellness modalities including the Far Infrared Sauna, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), PEMF Cellular Therapy, and Halo Therapy. The space hums with life—light through the windows, calm music in the background, and people quietly doing the good work of getting well. Everything about it says order, peace, and possibility.

Directly across the street from Studio 7:14 stands A Whole World of Good, a 10,000-square-foot marketplace filled with life and warmth—part mercantile, part coffeehouse. Above it sits The Upper Room, a 3,000-square-foot gathering space that has become the heartbeat of the community. It’s where the DoorKeepers Mass Choir gathers to rehearse, where Bible studies and small groups meet, where writers craft stories, and where friends linger over coffee and conversation. The Upper Room carries laughter and purpose in the air—a place where community happens naturally and where joy feels at home.

Together, The Old Ruth, Studio 7:14, and A Whole World of Good form a single living ecosystem—a rhythm of restoration, nourishment, creativity, and belonging where transformation doesn’t feel forced; it feels like coming back to life.

And woven through it all is the creative heartbeat of Jennie Lee Riddle—a globally acclaimed, gold-certified songwriter, mentor, and ecosystem founder whose work has reached millions around the world. Having walked through her own health and recovery journey, she understands restoration from the inside out. Her gift for crafting beauty and truth through lyric, leadership, and community defines the atmosphere of TurnAround Lifestyle, where creativity becomes a tool for healing and hope.

The Daily Rhythm

Days at TurnAround Lifestyle have structure and life in them again. Mornings start early with light calisthenics and breathing, followed by movement, breakfast, and wellness therapies that help the body settle and the mind clear. The schedule is designed to reset circadian rhythm—consistent wake times, daylight, activity, and a bedtime that trains the body to rest when it’s time to rest.

Afternoons are hands-on. Everyone learns to put their hands to good work—mechanical projects, creative writing, gardening, woodworking, or other meaningful skills that engage focus, build confidence, and create accomplishment.

Cooking becomes a huge part of the process. Together we learn how to feed the body the way it was designed to be fed—how to choose ingredients that heal, how to prepare food that fuels, and how to eat in a way that supports energy, focus, and recovery. It’s about learning what food does for the body and how to make that sustainable at home long after the program ends.

Most evenings are done in community. Some nights we play games, watch a movie, or laugh until our sides hurt. Other nights are quiet, with music, journaling, or small-group reflection. Oftentimes the day slows enough to let everyone get to bed at a decent hour, with time for peace and quiet before sleep. No screens. No noise. Just calm.

Nutrition and Supplementation

Meals follow the HEROIC Protocol—clean, anti-inflammatory, and fully kosher foods that lower inflammation and lift mental fog. As inflammation calms, the body begins to clear what doesn’t belong—dead cells, toxins, and the debris that clouds thinking and drains energy. Guests also practice easy and mild intermittent fasting, giving the body twelve to fourteen hours each night to rest, repair, and restore healthy communication between cells.

Supplements from the Studio 7:14 Apothecary support this process by restoring the raw materials the body needs to rebuild itself. When the body receives what it was designed for, it doesn’t need to be fixed—it simply remembers how to heal.

What Begins to Change

As structure returns, sleep resets. Thoughts become clear. Hope comes back.

Guests begin waking up early again, moving with purpose, and finding delight in small things—food, friendship, fresh air, music.

By the end of the sabbatical, most describe feeling lighter, steadier, and clearer than they have in years.

The body learns peace.

The mind learns clarity.

The soul remembers joy

Why It Works

TurnAround Lifestyle rebuilds what stress, trauma, and imbalance have undone.

Through consistency and community, guests learn how to:

    •    Re-establish healthy boundaries

    •    Maintain good routines

    •    Restore sleep and energy rhythms

    •    Create balance between structure and rest

    •    Recover confidence and rediscover purpose

As the days find rhythm, the fog lifts. Sleep stabilizes. Energy rises. Laughter re-emerges. Purpose grows clear.

Program Structure

TurnAround Lifestyle unfolds in four intentional phases. Each phase increases activity, confidence, and responsibility at a pace that keeps the mind engaged, the body active, and the heart hopeful. It’s designed to fill each day with meaningful purpose and natural rhythm, helping guests sleep well at night and wake ready for the day ahead.

Phase 1 — Orientation & Rhythm Reset

The first phase builds structure. Guests wake early, move their bodies, and learn to fill the day with activity that brings focus and strength. Morning movement, group classes, counseling, and shared meals bring order back to life. The focus is on re-engaging in daily routine—building consistency, strength, and confidence.

Phase 2 — Activation & Skill Building

Once daily rhythm is established, the pace picks up. Guests take part in creative and practical experiences that teach focus and satisfaction—gardening, basic cooking, woodworking, journaling, and other hands-on skills that develop attention and follow-through. Physical activity increases through gym sessions, hiking, and outdoor recreation. The goal of this phase is strength—building both stamina and a renewed sense of accomplishment.

Phase 3 — Strength & Integration

This phase deepens participation. Guests begin taking greater ownership of their days—planning portions of group activities, supporting one another, and contributing ideas that serve the community. They find rhythm between structure and freedom, activity and rest, self-care and care for others.

Phase 4 — Restoration & Transition

The final phase prepares each guest for life after The Old Ruth. It’s about carrying new habits home—consistent sleep, nutritious eating, physical movement, and healthy boundaries. Guests leave with tools to build steady, purposeful lives beyond the sabbatical—lives that keep growing, giving, and standing strong.

Across all four phases, days stay active and full of variety: movement, learning, creativity, connection, and joy. Every part of the program works together to replace stagnation with strength and help each guest live like life was meant to be lived—awake, engaged, and alive.

The Purpose

TurnAround Lifestyle exists to help people who have fallen down rise to stand tall again—to rebuild stability, strength, and clarity that endures.

As it says in Jeremiah 12:5,

“If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses?”

Our goal is simple: to help each person live strong, steady, and ready—to run the race they were made for.

The Invitation

TurnAround Lifestyle is a vibrant, life-giving community where purpose is found, joy returns, and hope grows stronger every day.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22–23
