Why We Exist

Jennie Lee Riddle is a worship leader, songwriter, and the writer of "Revelation Song" — one of the most widely sung worship songs in the modern church, recorded and performed in countries and languages around the world. For decades, she poured her life into others: raising up creatives, building alongside her husband Darrin, and moving full speed through every season. But beneath the momentum, her body was fighting a war she didn't fully understand — a lifetime of cascading diagnoses including lipedema, Sjögren's syndrome, pre-diabetes, GERD, fatty liver disease, and metabolic syndrome, none of which ever seemed to get real answers. She was intentional about her health and obedient to the guidance she was given, but much of what she was told to do only made things worse.

Four years ago, it all came to a head with a diagnosis of breast cancer. But what could have been the end of her story became the beginning of something else entirely. Jennie believes God spoke clearly: the cancer was not the problem — it was a symptom. He was after the healing of the whole ecosystem — body, soul, mind, and spirit. That reframe changed everything. For the first time, the decades of disconnected diagnoses came together into one picture: a body under strain for a very long time, and a God who had been preparing the path to restore it.

Step by step, Jennie overhauled her entire life — food, products, daily habits, spinal alignment, gut health, toxic load, and the everyday inputs affecting her body. She learned the hard way that healing is not accidental. It is designed, by the Designer, whose ways are perfect. After three years of living a completely transformed lifestyle, she has had three consecutive clean PET scans, lost 72 pounds that doctors said was impossible, and resolved conditions she had carried for decades.

What Jennie discovered was that God had been threading this story together for far longer than she realized. Years before her diagnosis, she and Darrin had moved from Dallas to La Porte, Indiana, purchased a historic 1888 mansion, and bought a building on Main Street that she always knew would become a wellness clinic. She had even purchased TurnaroundLifestyle.com as the very first domain she ever owned. She just didn't know how personally she would have to live it first.

Now, Studio 7:14 serves as the wellness hub, and Turnaround Lifestyle is the residential heart of it all — a 30-day immersive sabbatical where exhausted leaders come live at The Old Ruth as personal guests of the Riddles, rebuilding their health, habits, and hope in a supported environment of worship, biblical counseling, and community. Jennie has never claimed she can cure anyone, but she is not shy about telling you about the One who can. For leaders who need a real pit stop, who need help regrouping so they can re-enter their race and finish well, her invitation is simple: "Come live with me."
